(COMMUNITY ADVENTURE PLAY EXPERIENCE) With a CAPE, The Sarah Lawrence College Child Development Institute provides children opportunities to create their own play experiences out of recycled materials. CDI will provide materials such as loose parts, cardboard boxes, wood, tires, fabric, paint, and other recycled materials collected from the community for the play experiences that will take place at the Beczak Center for Yonkers Arts Weekend. The emphasis is on the importance of free play in the life of the child. Children are encouraged to use their imaginations and the materials to collaborate and test out ideas.

Sarah Lawrence College Theatre Outreach presents ’Intimate Realities’ Teen Touring Drama Company of YTI (Youth Theatre Interactions) presenting ’A Tribute to Langston Hughes’. Directed by Paul Kwame Johnson, SLC Alum and Founder of Youth Theatre Interactions.
