Mr. Gutiérrez is an artist, photographer, editor, art director, illustrator and curator.

The most recent curated exhibitions in 2017 are THE INDEPENDENTS: 13 ARTISTS and THE IRASCIBLES: 12 ARTISTS at The Gallery at SUNY Purchase PC4, Center for Community and Culture and THEM APPLES, HISTORIC TIMES and WINTER TIMES at The Philipse Manor Historic Site.

His work in other media includes drawing, illustration, album cover art, collage, painting, and assemblage. His work has been published in The New York Times, The International Herald Tribune, New York Magazine, Vanity Fair, The San Francisco Chronicle, The New York Daily News, The New York Post, The Village Voice, and other periodicals and publications.

Born and raised in NYC, Mr. Gutiérrez has a studio in Yonkers, NY and is part of the YoHo Artists Group.
